On the day of an elderly gentleman's retirement he was given a brand new set of golf clubs by his co workers. He had never tried the game before so he decided to take a couple of lessons from the professional from the local golf club.
During the first lesson the professional showed him the basics and told him to have a swipe at the ball.
The gentleman then proceeded to hit the 6 iron 180 yards straight as an arrow which landed 2 foot from the pin. He turned to the pro and said "now what happens?"
The pro replied saying "you're meant to put the ball in the hole"
The man said in a disgusted voice "Now you tell me!"
