Slice
The slice is a common shot in golf however the most common shot is actually a PULL SLICE. Do not get these two confused. The slice shot will start ever so slightly right of your target line but will then spin off to the right dramatically.
The definition of a slice is an in to in swing path, with the clubface open to the target line, (see diagram).
This means in simple terms that you almost have the correct swing the only fault is the clubface is pointing right of the target at impact.
Fix
The main areas to look at when you hit the slice shot are:
Legend

Black- Target line
Green- Swing path
Red- Clubface at impact
