Golf Shots The Hook

The hook is a very destructive shot and is often linked with good players, the definition of the hook is an in to in swing path with the club face closed to the target line see diagram below)

Many a great golfer has been plagued with this shot possibly the most famous Ben Hogan who said "I hate a hook. It nauseates me. I could vomit when I see one. It's like a rattle-snake in your pocket."

(tip:look at your left hand from a birds eye view if you see more than 2 1/2 knuckles, then this is more than likely the cause.
