The Golf Fade
A fade is a controlled shot which is preferred by most golfers when approaching greens, this is because a fade will land a lot softer than a draw and will give added control when attacking pins.
The definition of a fade is an out to in swing path, with the club face square to the target line.
How to play this shot
The shot is easy to play as long as your set-up and swing are in good shape!
Aim the club face at the target
Take your stance parallel to your target line then open up your stance a fraction.( turn your body line to the left)
Hold the golf club! (This must be done last too many people hold the club when the aim and position their stance, this results in the club face being square to the body line and will result in a pull shot not a fade.
Swing along your body line.
